I am passionate about helping others and consider myself to be a champion for social justice and working with clients who might come from marginalized communities or face discrimination or harassment. As a first-generation Latina, having lived between Mexico and the U.S., I understand the complexities and barriers of living between two cultures, and the obstacles many individuals of marginalized groups face in our society. I consider myself informed on systemic oppression, multicultural and social justice issues, and an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
It is not easy reaching out for professional help. You may feel very alone and overwhelmed. I promise to partner with you in change in a non-judgmental, empowering way.
