OUR HEALING COLLECTIVE

JULIANA QUICENO, THERAPIST, CLINICAL INTERN

HI, I'M JULIANA

Life doesn't usually ask before it changes on you. A relationship ends, a diagnosis lands, a path you'd been sure of stops making sense, and suddenly you're standing somewhere you didn't plan to be, without a clear next step. Maybe you're in the middle of becoming someone different than who you thought you'd be, and you're still figuring out whether that's okay. You can have clarity and feel good about the direction you are heading.

I know what it feels like and I work with people navigating exactly that kind of in-between: big transitions, hard decisions, the feeling of being out of options. I don't come in with a fixed idea of who you should be or what your story means.

I am committed to understanding each person's experience on their own terms. I know your story belongs to you. I'm here to be curious about it alongside you. My job is to help you unfold it, not rewrite it.

"I BELIEVE HEALING, NOT JUST CHANGE, IS POSSIBLE IN THE RIGHT ENVIRONMENT"

What I offer is consistency, directness, and a genuine collaborative approach. I came to counseling because I've always been drawn to the complexity of people's lives. How pain, history, and systems all shape who we become. I believe growth and healing are possible even in the hardest circumstances, and I don't hold that belief lightly. This work is intentional and being trusted with someone's inner world is a responsibility and a privilege I hold seriously.

My background in residential treatment showed me firsthand what happens when systems fail people and that fuels my commitment to advocacy, both for my clients and for a field that must keep pushing toward equity and access. I am a woman and an immigrant. I know what it means to find your footing in places that didn't quite account for you, to exist between worlds, and to have to prove you belong, though I know that looks different for everyone. I don't assume that experience looks the same for everyone, but it's part of why cultural humility isn't just a value I hold, it's how I show up.

I understand how difficult it can be to find a way forward, make big changes or new choices. You deserve to feel good about the direction you are heading and have the support you need to get there. We can create a space where you feel safe enough to unfold authentically and where healing, not just change, becomes possible. Let's get started.
