OUR HEALING COLLECTIVE

BRITTNEY LANOSGA, LPC, RYT-200, RM

HI I'M BRITTNEY

If you identify as LGBTQIA+, femme, and/ or a person of color you may be facing obstacles or concerns in your life that are heavy on your mind. The weight of your worries may be leaving you feeling sad, frustrated, afraid or even angry. It may feel bigger than what you have time for right now, causing you to hold back when you want to say something. Possibly holding onto your feelings so tight you feel locked up. You may find it more and more difficult to disclose any of these feelings to anyone without falling apart. It’s okay to feel sadness, frustration or anger and it is okay to take time to talk about it. You can learn to allow room for all of your feelings.

I believe sadness and anger are not less than any other emotion and can become an important part of who we are when we can embrace them within us. I became a therapist to help people feel at ease and comfortable building a foundation of wholeness; inclusive of all feelings. Through my travels and experience providing crisis counseling I learned to approach all issues and intense feelings in a calm caring manner. I am dedicated to creating a non-judgmental environment that people can trust in order to unlock and express their deepest feelings.

"I AM HERE TO SUPPORT YOU"

I know what it’s like to be afraid of feeling out of control when we step out of our comfort zone to talk about the built up pain or “emotional energy” stuck inside. I discovered that blending yoga and reiki with talk therapy can create a trifecta of emotional energy exchange. The heart centered energy of reiki helps us love our entire selves and yoga supports our mind-body connection. These two pillars, along with traditional talk therapy can diffuse tightly held emotions and help us balance the emotional energy.

I understand how overwhelming it can be to carry around the weight of your stressors. You deserve care, acceptance and relief. Let’s explore pillars of healing for your mind, body and soul together. I am here to support you in expressing all of your emotions and experiences. Let’s get started.
